A Collaborative Endeavor with Hala Wardé

Crafting the Signage System for Nan Goldin's Retrospective Exhibition

Nan Goldin's retrospective, "This will not end well," at the Moderna Museet in Stockholm marks a groundbreaking exhibition, providing an extensive look into Goldin's work as a filmmaker. The exhibition's unique setting, comprising six distinct buildings designed by the acclaimed French-Lebanese architect Hala Wardé, creates a captivating village-like atmosphere.

In a collaborative effort with Hala Wardé and her design studio, HW Architecture, -scope Ateliers helped shape the exhibition's visual design. Our involvement encompassed the design, artwork, and production of sample signage and cartels, a process that was crafted with meticulous care within our Beirut workshop. The final exhibition materials was produced based on these samples in Paris and Stockholm.
