Folio sewing:
Binding by hand.
During our workshops, we explore the art of manual folio sewing. Guided by our artisans, students learn the fundamentals of this age-old technique, discovering how rhythm, tension, and material come together.
Hard cover making:
The book, completed.
We then move into the craft of hardcover making, where precision meets material sensitivity. Students discover the careful process of mounting printed artworks onto sturdy cardboard, shaping covers that are both structural and expressive.
