A New House Style for the Revamped 5-Star Hotel
Le Bristol Hotel is a Beirut urban landmark. The 5-star iconic hotel underwent a complete revamping in 2013, from exhaustive architectural renovations, interior uplift and a logo redesign by i.d.e.a.s. Paris.
A new house style was required to bind together the varied modifications and complete the remodeling.
Working around Le Bristol’s redesigned logo and newly renovated architecture, -scope Ateliers developed a consistent in-house identity that mirrors the hotel’s transformation from a palatial landmark into a more contemporary boutique hotel.
The visual language subtly reinterprets the brand’s heritage, moving away from ornamental codes toward a restrained, modern expression. Typography, layout, and material choices are treated with precision and discretion, allowing elegance to emerge through clarity and finesse, while fully respecting Le Bristol’s historic standing.
A comprehensive brand manual establishing and outlining all new design guidelines was compiled. Discreet signage systems were developed for the hotel and its outlets, in addition to new soft and refined design models, logo applications and packaging for amenities and stationary.
