An Open Door to a Lebanon of the Past
A columnist in Lebanese French-language newspaper L’Orient-Le Jour, Georges Boustany published his articles and selection of photos in a book entitled Avant d’Oublier (Before I forget). In the same vein as his chronicles for L’Orient-Le Jour, this book is an open door to a Lebanon of the past, frozen in photos by anonymous and amateurs.
-scope Ateliers worked on a book design that brings out each image, highlighting elements and details that Georges Boustany’s regular readers would rediscover in a new layout.
