“Respiration” Scenography

“Respiration” is a dialogue between Karen Chekerdjian’s body of work and the permanent collection at L’Institut du Monde Arabe (Paris) that serves to unveil her process of designing.

-scope Ateliers scenographic participation involved assisting the spectator through the five part exhibition across four-storeys.

A red line throughout the museum helped the visitor walk his way and discover the design items. Floor decals and graphic wall panels served to complement the displayed works and hint at gesture and process, while leaving the pieces become part of the space as art objects.
