The Geek gallery's exhibit for the Beirut Design Week

Taking Over Beirut (TOB) was the 2016 design topic by Geek Express for Beirut Design Week (BDW).

-scope Ateliers conceived and illustrated the TOB artworks to fit both visually and culturally the 'comics' mood of the Gallery. The illustration combines two styles: clean and solid shapes on one side and sketchy and overlapping lines on the other, separated by a road that cuts the tension between modern and vernacular ‘Beirut'. The 2 sides are connected by cables and wires, one of which holds the Arabic lettering of ‘Beirut’.
